Day One to Ten Studio in Action
I think we can call the 'Studio in Action' exhibition a success with almost 400 visitors over the 10 days the exhibition was open in the Hayloft. Every day one of 'The Material Girls' was in residence and working on a project of their choice, it was interesting to engage in conversation with the visitors either about the work in the exhibition, our own work or both. This is only a small part of our work with Rainham Hall, it is ongoing, some of the work can still be seen in the main house. As they say a picture is worth a thousand words so ..........

Very enjoyable time stewarding. Interesting conversations about textile art, merits of Van Gogh, what's the point of art.... oh and an art related joke originally told by Tommy Cooper. And lots of compliments on the work and presentation.
